This work does not in any way entrench upon the scope of the ordinary English-Arabic Dictionary. It is intended to deal chiefly and primarily with technical words and phrases which are to the lawyer both proctical and indispensable. It does not have any pretensions to encyclopaedic range or character or purport to be an abridgment of any laws. The fundamental object sought by it is to present the Arab lawyer and student of jurisprudence and to the Arab businessmean who, by virtue ofhis foreign lefal and business relations, can all aford indifference to legal terminology, a bilingual dictionary in the pattern of modern English and American law dictionaries.
