This book is an abridged translation of erudite Hanbalite schilar Muwafaq-ud-Deen Ibn Qudaamah Al-Maqdisee's Dhamm Al-Muwaswiseen Wat-Tahdheeru Min-al Waswasah. Ibn Qudaamah  was a noted Islamic scholar of the Hanbalite school of law, author of Al-Mughnee (the major Hanbalite fiqh manual) as well as Mukhtasar Minhaaj Al-Qaasideen (a summary of Al-Ghaazalee's Ihyaa' 'Uloom Ad-Deen) and Tahreem An-Nadhar (Prophibition of Speculative Theology), an attack on Ibn 'Aqeel’s rationalist views.) He was born in Jerusalem, and died in Damascus In the Year AH 620. Topics the author discusses include the intention upon performing ablutions and prayers,  excessive use of water in wudhoo' and ghusl, ignoring doubts (waswasah) relating to wudhoo', carrying children during the prayer and the use of water left in open containers.
